Healthcare facility seeks review of internal and external communication initiatives.
DALLAS (June 26, 2012) – SRJ Marketing Communications has recently been selected by Uvalde Memorial Hospital in Uvalde, Texas, to perform a comprehensive communications assessment for the hospital. The goal of the project is to reveal the effectiveness of the marketing communication programs of the hospital.
As healthcare reform continues to pose new challenges for hospitals and healthcare facilities, coupled with increased competition, hospitals are looking to make better use of their marketing dollars by strengthening their outreach to internal and external audiences.
“Everything a hospital does has an impact on their brand and bottom line. From community outreach to patient satisfaction, people are making decisions whether or not to choose your hospital,” said Jolly. “With that said, it’s important that your facility does everything possible to create a favorable impression to earn the business of the community.”
There are many components of a communications assessment from SRJ, but some of the elements include a review of marketing, advertising and public relations programs in place; an evaluation of the overall communications vision, strategy and themes; an analysis of opportunities and challenges for the hospital; and a review of existing branding continuity amongst all visual elements.
For more information on how a comprehensive communications assessment can be the start of an integrated program to improving how your hospital or organization communicates with various audiences, please call 214-528-5775.
